Additional Hotel Information
While the bride and groom have only reserved discounted hotel blocks at the Lotte Palace and Courtyard by Marriot, there are a number of other hotel options in the area.
If planning to use the shuttle from the Lotte to the Bordone, we recommend looking for hotels between 3rd avenue and 6th avenue, and 60th street to 42nd street.
Some options in the area include:
InterContinental New York Barclay (4 star)
The Lexington Hotel (4 star)
Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East (3 star)
The Bernic Hotel (4 star)
DoubleTree by Hilton New York Midtown Fifth Ave (4 star)
Warwick New York (4 star)
Concorde Hotel New York (4 star)
If you would prefer to stay near the wedding venue in Long Island City we recommend the Ravel Hotel. This is a 4 star hotel and a four minute walk to the Bordone. We will note that while this is close to the venue, you will be outside of Manhattan and there are limited restaurants / coffee shops in the immediate area.

As we know not everyone is familiar with Manhattan, please do not hesitate to reach out to either Ken or Emily with any questions!
LaGuardia Airport is 9 miles from the Lotte Palace and 6 miles from the venue. This is the closest airport to our event.
While JFK is another viable option to get to NYC, please keep in mind that New York City will have traffic. JFK is 16 miles from the Lotte Palace and 14 miles from the Bordone. During peak travel times it can take over an hour to get to Manhattan.
While LaGuardia and JFK are both closer to Manhattan, Newark is another viable option to get to NYC. However Newark is 17 miles from the Lotte Palace and 20 miles from the Bordone.
If coming from Connecticut, you can take the MetroNorth to get into Manhattan. Both West Haven Station and Fairfield Station provide free parking on weekends. Tickets can be purchased at the station or on the MTA TrainTime app. Grand Central is an 8 minute walk to Lotte Palace.
If taking Amtrak, you will arrive in Penn Station. You can purchase tickets through the Amtrak app or Amtrak website. Penn Station is <2 miles from Lotte Palace.
If comfortable driving in Manhattan, there are ample places to park your car for the weekend.
Parking is available at the Lotte Palace at 29-33 E 50th Street between Park and Madison Avenues, adjacent to the hotel’s main lobby entrance on 50th Street.
Parking is available at the Courtyard by Marriot with a garage located at 154 E 53rd Street.
Street parking is an option, but not always guaranteed (especially in mid-town) so we would recommend reserving a garage spot ahead of time through SpotHero.
